We use Library of Congress Classification for most of our collections. Each book is marked with a call number. Call numbers begin with letters, and each letter represents a different topic. See the Library of Congress Classification Outline for a detailed breakdown of classification.

Dewey Decimal Call Numbers

We use Dewey Decimal Classification for children's books. Each book is assigned a Call Number based on its topic. Call numbers are decimal numbers ranging from 000 to 999.
