OK-Share Library Card System

Eligible members of the USAO community with an OK-Share Card may borrow materials from participating Oklahoma academic libraries. The full statewide policy is available from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Obtaining an OK-Share Card:

Current USAO faculty, staff, and students who do not owe fines at Nash Library are eligible for an OK-Share Card. To obtain an Ok-Share Card, present your USAO ID at the Nash Library Circulation Desk. All OK-Share Cards must be signed by the person requesting lending rights at other OK-Share libraries signifying agreement to follow that lending library's circulation and usage rights.

Your OK-Share Card is good for one year.

Circulation Information:

The OK-Share courtesy card must be presented each time you borrow a book at the participating OK-Share Card library. There are no exceptions to this requirement. Expired cards will not be honored.

Participating libraries may require additional identification.

Each OK-Share institution sets its own lending policy, i. e. the type of material available, length of loan time, and renewal limits.

You may borrow 2 (two) items at a time.

You are responsible for:

  • all items charged to your name.
  • returning materials are due on the date/time indicated on the date due slip presented at checkout or as noted on any recall or rush recall notice.
  • returning the items to the lending library. Nash Library will not return the items for you.
  • any fines for materials returned late and for replacement fees for materials lost or presumed by the lending library to be lost.
  • maintaining current addresses with Nash Library and the cooperating library or libraries you use.

Abuse of Library Privileges:

Abuse of library privileges may result in sanctions at both Nash Library and the library of the cooperating education institution. Failure to return library materials may result in further collection procedures with the possibility of being referred to law enforcement agencies for appropriate action under Oklahoma law.
