Dictionary of National Biography updated

The September 2010 update of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography adds biographies of 101 men and women active between the thirteenth and late twentieth centuries with a special focus on policing in Britain and overseas, and on notable black Britons from the 1700s. In addition to new biographies, the update includes 8 new 'reference group' essays. A full list of subjects is also available, along with the editor's introduction to the update.
