Quirtz-quip is a good man and
should be supported as a Chief.

I trust that these men and you
will do all that is possible to secure
compliance with the demand of the
Gov't as spoken by Com'r. Walker
and that but a small fraction of
your Indians will be outlawed
on the 15th December.

I shall await the report anxiously.

Please ask this man Geo. Frazier
who drives the light wagon and acts
as Com'r. to the party to let you see
the card I gave him.

I request as a personal favor that
you give him employment and really
belief that you will find him almost
invaluable at the issuing room
on the cattle pen. I really don't
know what I should have done on
this trip without him. He gets along
admirably with the Indians.
