These Indians go home well
provided with clothing for the Winter,
Individually, women as well as men,
and I hope the trip will prove to
have been of benefit to them.

I wish especially to call attention
to certain men -

Son - of the Sun - Kiowa - you will find
impressed truly by what he has seen - I think
he will do well - he has with me. Please
help him to be a chief.

Esse-toyel is the best man of the
Peneteghkas by far and ought to be
encourage - and on the first good
occasion made their head chief.

Of the Yapparikos - Ten Bears
has succumbed to Time - and Howear's
mind if seriously affected - Cheevers
is the man of the band and I hope
he will be regarded by your as chief.
