The people of the state of New York by the Grace
of God, Free and Independent,
to Emanuel Coryell Esquire of the County of
Tioga send Greeting
Whereas due proof having been made before William Woodruff surrogate
of the said County of Tioga to his satisfaction, that Ezekial Williams
late of the town of Owego and County of Tioga is dead, and as is
alledged lately died Intestate, having whilst living and at the time
of his death, Goods, Chattels and Credits within this state by means
whereof the ordering and granting administration of all and
singular the said Goods, Chattels and Credits, and also the auditing
allowing and final discharging the amount thereof doth appertain
unto us; and we being desirous that the Goods, Chattels, and
Credits of the said deceased may be well and faithfully admin-
istered, applied and disposed of do grant unto You the said
Emanuel Coryell, full power by these presents to administer and
faithfully dispose of all and singular the said Goods, Chattels, and
Credits, to ask, demand, recover and receive the debts which unto the
said deceased whilst living and at the time of his death did
belong; and to pay the debts which the said deceased did owe,
so far as such Goods, Chattels and Credits will thereto extend
and the Law require. – Hereby requiring you to make as course
to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular
the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, which have
or shall come to your hands possession or knowledge:
and the same so made to exhibit or cause to be exhibited
into the office of the surrogate of the County of Tioga, at or before
the expiration of six calendar months from the date hereof
and also to render a just and true account of Administra-
tion when thereunto legally requires. And we do by these
presents, depute, constitute and appoint You the said Emanuel
Coryell Administrator of all and singular the Goods, Chattels
