March 9, 1893

Geo. D. Day
U. S. Indian Agent
Kiowa Agency,
Anadarko, Okla.

Sir: -
You are informed that the office has transferred and ap-
pointed Mr. B. F. McCormack, superintendent of the Fort Bennett Board-
ing School, Forest City Agency, to the superintendency of the Kiowa
Boarding school, vice Mr. Wilson, relieved, at a salary of $1200
per annum, with instruction to report to you immediately for duty.
Also, Mrs. Carrie McCormack has been appointed as matron at the
Rainy Mountain Boarding School, at a salary of $600 per annum. Mrs.
McCormack, however, is to be carried on the rolls of the Rainy
Mountain school without pay until the services of a matron are
needed there, when she will be transferred as matron of the Kiowa
school, and the present Kiowa matron will be assigned to duty at
Rainy Mountain school.

You will please advise Agent Frank Lillibridge, at Forest
City Agency, of the date Mr. and Mrs. McCormack report to you for
duty, that he may know how much leave of absence to grant them.
Mrs. McCormack has been given the choice of either remaining on duty
