Fort Sill, I. T.
Nov 11th 1875

Mr Jno Richards
U S Indian Agent
Wichita Agency

Sir

Last May a Mexican "Romero" living on the
Little Washita had a "blue horse mule"
belonging to Mexican "Theodosa" Guide at
this Port. During Theodosa's Absence Romero traded the mule to a Deleware Indian
Jack Hardis for a pony. He (Romero)
then traded this pony to another Mexican
Patricio for a second pony and
sold the last one. The General
wishes that you send here "Romero"
Patricio & the Deleware Jack "Hardis"
with the mule and ponies in question
so that a settlement of the ownership
can be arrived at.
