Thursday,

Dear Anna, We have not had
any rain yet can not have a good
cup of coffee on account of the water
Granny & the sick calf died yesterday.
Wimpie is o. k. has about half doz
feathers on him now but we still
have to bring him in every night.
You should have gotten your corn
on Sat. We do not have a Mot. Ward
catalogue. I think the Hamiltons do,
so will borrow theirs.
Have no turnips up yet the corn is
all gone, had the last of it yesterday.
The pigs and chickens are growing.
Rose is in Wewoka with Henry.
C. Joe is still here. Since is so dry the
cows are not giving any cream, and
have not been able to buy him any
cloth or get him up there. Then
too he wrote up then but have
not heard from Them. But he
can get on at Durant

1. Curtis Lewis was Anna's brother.
