Charles Alston Cook

Member of  North Carolina Senate, 1877, 1895. U.S. District Attorney, 1889-1893. N.C. House, 1897. Associate Justice, N.C. Supreme Court, 1901-1903. UNC Trustee, 1887-1901.

Moved to Muskogee, Indian Territory in 1903. Served in Oklahoma House and was nominated for associate justice of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma as well as for U.S. Representative.
