Encls.

August 25, 1893

Geo D. Day
Ex U. S. Indian Agent
Kiowa &c., Agency,
Anadarko, Oklahoma

Sir.

I return herewith reports of issues and expenditures on ac-
account of the schools at the Kiowa &c., Agency submitted by you
for quarter ending July 17, 1893. There is no quarter of the fiscal
year ending at that time. Reports are needed from these schools
for the quarter ending June 30, 1893. You are requested to have
them prepared and forwarded at once, as these schools were under
your charge during that quarter. You should not run the fourth
and first quarters together. Fractional reports will have to be
rendered by you to cover the time you were in charge of the Agency
during the quarter beginning July 1, 1893, up to the time your
successor took charge. The new agent will have to submit reports
for the second fraction of the first quarter.

Please attend to this matter without delay. The reports are
now needed for statistical purposes.

Very respectfully

Frank C. Armstrong
Ass't Commissioner.
